The tradition of assigning so-called "fish"-statuses for employees started already several years ago. The fish system is a progressive motivation system which allows the employees to get different benefits and discounts, depending on their time worked in Playtech Estonia.
The fish system is based on the principle that a foundation for good work performance is allowing you regularly time for relaxing, both physically and mentally. On each level of the system, there is a fixed maximum sum the employee can use in half a year, investing it to entertainment, health or sports. Of course, the longer the employee has worked at Playtech, the larger is the sum.
New fish in the waters. These young prodigies thrive in the coastal waters and rarely go to the deeper sea. They are active and very capable, their innovativeness is highly valued. During the first days, the Baby Fish gets their Playtech employee card and thus becomes a member of our family. The Baby Fish has worked at Playtech for up to two years.
The Stripy has seen the calm sea and the stormy oceans. They have surfed everywhere and are now full of energy and eagerness. Nothing can stop the Stripy from doing big things in the company. The Stripy can use a bigger Fish fund compared to the Baby Fish. Stripy has worked at Playtech from two up to four years.
The Old Fish knows the sea like the back of their fin. They are respected and everybody wants them on their team. The Old Fish are wise and cunning and can't be hooked so easily. They make sure that the Baby Fish and Stripy grow up to be even better than they are. Once reaching the Old Fish level, the employee is entitled to a holiday trip by courtesy of the company in addition to the regular fish benefits. The Old Fish has worked at Playtech from for up to six years.
These noble fish radiate authority. Royal Fish opinion is valued and words cherished. Every fish understands that life without the valuable experience of the Royal Fish wouldn't be the same. In addition to the regular fish benefits and one holiday trip once reaching this Fish level, the Royal Fish are entitled to an extra vacation (5 days) every year. Royal Fish has worked at Playtech from six up to eight years.
Keeper of knowledge and protector of trade secrets. From the freezing arctic currents to the boiling effects of global warming, the Sensei has seen it all. They are extremely wise and can lead the way even in the roughest waters. On top of regular fish discounts, the Senseis get a holiday trip once reaching this Fish level by courtesy of the company with a slightly higher amount than at the Royal Fish level, and of course, an extra vacation (5 days) every year. The Sensei has worked at Playtech from eight up to 10 years.
The legend says the Guru was once pulled over by a cop. The Guru let him go with a warning.
Their wealth of knowledge and experience is not shared with all, but only gifted to a chosen few. The Gurus get a holiday trip once after every two years by courtesy of the company with a slightly higher cost than in their previous levels, and of course an extra vacation (5 days) every year. In addition, once they reach the Guru level, they are awarded with a special present. Guru has worked at Playtech for more than 10 years.
The employees are eligible for a number of discounts when presenting the Playtech card in different sports clubs, dining venues, stores, companies providing health care services, etc.
It has become a tradition in Playtech Estonia to organize different company events for employees and their family members, friends. For example: Spring Barbecue, Summer Day(s), different sports events, Autumn Hike, Christmas Party, Our Pals get-togethers, etc. In addition, we organize Health Days, separate team-building events, Information Day and company's birthday. In the office, we also celebrate employees' birthdays, public and other well known holidays.
Playtech offices are comfortable, with modern working tools and work conditions. All employees are eligible for chillout and relaxing in the special relaxation areas. There, different games and other free time activities are provided. In addition, all emplyees can enjoy free snacks, coffee-tea in the kitchen area, also free massage is avaible in the office.
We organize different inner and external trainings. In addition, management programs are held for different level managers. As Playtech has many different positions, moving occupationally inside the company is very common.
For recommending a friend or a acquaintance to work in Playtech, we pay up to 2000 EUR bonus.
